As a Select Relationship Advisor my position centres on wealth management. I am responsible for providing an exemplary service experience for Santander’s top 4% of high net worth customers. My main duty is to focus on deepening customer relationships by proving a simple seamless and efficient service whilst ensuring commercial opportunities are identified and capitalised upon.I am expected to take ownership of, and resolve complex or time consuming queries. I am also required to work both independently and directly with a wide range of individuals at all levels – regular staff, financial planning managers and visiting directors, which can make the job varied and interesting.

My role included: posting job advertisements, scheduling and carrying out interviews, checking application forms and interacting with many people so as to recruit the right person for the right job. I often had to communicate with managers and employees regularly to establish rapport, gauge morale and source new candidate leads. Furthermore, I had a number of administration duties such as replying to emails and other forms of correspondence, carrying out credit checks and ensuring all employee records were kept up-to- date.
