Group Technical Services Manager
CurrentAs Technical Services Manager I am responsible for the condition, maintenance and services for all sites across the Group to ensure that the offices meet the needs of the organisation, its employees and customers. Reporting directly to the Facilities Director my role is to work closely with the executive team, the commercial real estate team, legal and compliance, health and safety, procurement, IT and the senior operational management across the group to advise and steer the direction of the technical services within the business. Key responsibilities also include project management of relocations, refurbishments and rebranding of acquisitions with Leaders Romans Group which currently operates from over 150 locations, mainly in the South East of EnglandJune 2017 – to March 2018, Technical Services & Compliance Manager, ENGIEAs Technical Services & Compliance Manager my role was to manage, support, monitor and control all aspects of the ENGIE Hard Services provision, including Specialist Sub-contractors within a TFM contract.Managing a team of 8-10 engineers, my main responsibilities included ensuring the contract was fully compliant within statutory and legislative requirements and was being managed in line with the contract specification. The contract estate was within the London Borough of Harrow and consisted of circa 80 significant buildings including schools. I was responsible for the contract’s PPM regime, the FMR and Capital planning recommendations, and all day to day technical activity including the resourcing and reporting of all planned and reactive maintenance My role was also to broadly support employees and sub-contractors in delivering a high level of service to clients with maximum efficiency and in a safe, sustainable and collaborative manner and in accordance with contractual obligations.
