Essential Roles and Responsibilities 1. Interfaces with the customer to ensure expectations are met, primary customer contact.a. Attends customer meetings assisting with estimating, cost control, resources loading, project performance and improvement.b. Makes critical decisions, technical analysis and is key customers interface.c. Documents and shares project learning’s with the customer, management and field supervision.d. Utilizes the KPI Project Management Process. e. Must be able to communicate OE Goals effectively.f. Effectively communicates with customers and employees.g. Completes all associated paper work in a timely manner. 2. Accountable at a senior level, for all the results of all crews at construction or maintenance sites.a. The number of individuals supervised may range from three to five (direct) and fifty to one hundred ( indirectly).b. Utilizes CPI tools to reduce job costs and KS Industries cost of doing business.c. Eliminates Barriers affecting the internal customer’s performance.d. Approves employee development plans.e. Effectively resolves conflict and takes appropriate personnel actions.f. Coordinates all internal policies and procedures for internal customers.g. May assist crews as necessary, in order to perform a job efficiently and safely, utilize scope and risk management tools.h. Acts as the project coach and leader. 3. Provides a safe work environment.a. Makes occasional job site inspections.b. Conducts safe work and performs behavioral based safety audits, understands and follows work schedules, understands mechanical drawings and constructability analysis to ensure quality, productivity and safety. c. On call twenty four hours a day and must respond in emergency situations.
