Team Lead, High Level Masonry Surveys
CurrentI'm the team lead for the central high level masonry survey team, the team sits within the operations directorate of HES and i report to the National Delivery Lead. my team consists of 1 x asst team lead, 3 x inspectors, 1x architectural technician. we are responsible for surveying a number of monuments within the central area as well as other areas within Scotland(island sites, Scottish borders, north of Scotland region, Edinburgh) the surveys are tactile and concentrating on heights above 1.5… Show more I'm the team lead for the central high level masonry survey team, the team sits within the operations directorate of HES and i report to the National Delivery Lead. my team consists of 1 x asst team lead, 3 x inspectors, 1x architectural technician. we are responsible for surveying a number of monuments within the central area as well as other areas within Scotland(island sites, Scottish borders, north of Scotland region, Edinburgh) the surveys are tactile and concentrating on heights above 1.5 meters by means of Mobile Elevated Works Platforms, Mobile Scaffolding, Rope Access & Ladder. our surveys are then concluded within a final report which is presented at a technical panel meeting where our conclusions are considered and a course of action implemented as required and remedial works carried out. I carry out a number of pre-inspection checks prior to surveys taking place and monitor surveys as they go and report findings concerns to the National Delivery Lead. I act as the main liaison with internal stakeholders such as our Operations Colleagues (architects/surveyors/Cultural Assets/Heritage Management/CAD Colleagues as well as external contractors, suppliers & specialists. I`m responsible for pre-inspection to post inspection documentation and ensuring completion of inspections and reports are carried out to a high standard and that the goals of the HLM Project are met assuring that life safety risks and future repairs are highlighted.
