Was instrumental in setting up this Company selling Building Material to the public on Credit.This was a first in the trade and we eventually grew it to 40 stores .My main function was the overall performance of the stores under my command-namely stock/debtors/staff and most importantly the achievement of Net Profit.

Was in charge of 32 furniture stores with my major functions being the control of debt and stock.This included the preparation of monthly accounts for Senior management and ensuring that systems as laid down by the Company were adhered to. Major stock takes were taken every 3 months to ensure that losses were kept to minimum.Staff also played an important part in my day to day activities in that I was held resposible and accountable to ensure that the Companies Policies and Procedures were adhered to.All disciplinary action against staff had to go through me to ensure that the correct procedures were adhered to,and in the event of it going to Labour Court I was tasked with ensuring that the Companies interest was upheld.I also was involved from time to time with Wage negotiations
