The project commenced in September 2009 and I was the on-site project manager during the kick-off phase which, amongst many other duties, involved running workshops to analyse the data capture requirements for each business department involved in the project.

CAPS project. (Contracts and Artiste Payments).I managed a large team who won the CAPS project from several major competitors, including SAP, IBM and Jaguar. The pre-sales phase ran for over 15 months during which time I coordinated all presentations, demos and response documents. This resulted in the winning of a £3.5M project the first phase of which was successfully implemented in July 2009.PARIS. (Programme and Rights Information System) First commissioned in 1997 this core back-office system was developed with USoft software and sector skills in conjunction with the then Granada team based in Manchester. To this day it remains the core rights management system for ITV and was recently upgraded to the most recent platform of USoft 9 to make particular use of the new REST platform in order to expose rights data throughout the ITV IT network.I remain as the USoft account manager for ITV.

This involved considerable pre-sales activity, presentations, workshops, requests for information and bid-preparation. Having won the project I played a key role in the contract negotiation including project planning, timings, scoping and financials. During the lifecycle of the project I was responsible for the day-to-day running of the project, managing all consultants' activities, tracking work done against project plans, confirming scope and reporting progress to the customer.Following the success of the pilot I was appointed as the Ness account manager.

Asset and Materials management project- DPSJoint project manager with responsibility for the original scoping of the project, managing the development and implementation schedules. I was then subsequently responsible for technical problem solving, data-model Q.A., Oracle DBA, performance tuning, development environment manager, design of external interfaces, and the planning and building of procedures to clean-up and migrate data from existing legacy systems. We successfully implemented the phase 1 in April 1997 which included the replacement of two redundant legacy systems. Further phases have since been developed and implemented including Rights Management, Material Allocation, Format Holders and Artiste Payments.
