Specific responsibilities include:- ESOS Compliance- ISO 50001- Energy optimisation across all Balfour Beatty UK construction sites and permanent properties- Formulating energy and sustainability policy- New innovations, notably the introduction of hydrogen fuel cell technology- Creating business cases for capital investment in energy efficiency projects- Line management- Data analysis and the subsequent production of management reports- Formulating and implementing strategies for improving energy efficiency- Supply chain and stakeholder management

- Delivery of energy, gas and water efficiency projects across the Morrisons retail, logistics and manufacturing estate across HVAC, refrigeration, building management system control upgrades and lighting.- Management of a £1.6m project development pipeline ring-fenced to develop ideas and proposals from concept to inclusion in future capital pipelines.- Project management, delivery and stakeholder engagement on environmental compliance activities including ESOS, Carbon Trust Standard, scope 1 & 2 Science Based Targets, carbon reporting in line with streamlined energy and carbon reporting (SECR) and scope 3 foot printing and targeting. - Management of contractor relationships across energy efficiency, BMS, environmental compliance and pipeline project development, including internal stakeholder management and leadership of cross-functional engagement.- Close working relationship with design and maintenance teams to help drive the energy efficiency agenda forward- Tenant billing and revenue recovery across the Morrisons retail estate which included the implementation of new metering and recharging processes for concessions operating on Morrisons premises.

- Formulate development requirements for a planning and communications tool used by stores. - Work closely with the retail IT team's business analyst and solutions architect to develop workable requirements for the development team.- Carry out user acceptance testing pre-deployment of new features. - Drive project development by keeping track of project deadlines, challenging where appropriate. - Engage with external stakeholders to better understand available solutions. - Drive a project designed to provide store managers which Samsung tablets that provide applications designed to make their jobs easier. - Drive increased engagement with external suppliers - Engage with the business, across departments, in order to affect cultural changes related to the introduction of new communications tools. - Responsible for retail capacity planning and trial approval.

- Lead a team of 50 across four departments in a store achieving weekly revenue in excess of £800k. - Responsibility for the entire store while on duty - approximately 3 times per week. - Increased cleaning standards by holding external contractors to account via a weekly performance audit. - Driven the store customer satisfaction score to an average of 73% (7% ahead of the region), through effective leadership and positive engagement with the store team. - Consistently achieved the following KPIs: Payroll, customer service metrics, expenses budget, sales targets and legal compliance with trading standards and local authorities - in addition to achieving compliance with Morrison's internal audit procedure.

- Provided logistical and administrative support to the Central Operations Director, whose region covered 150 stores and employed over 30,000 people. Assisted with: diary management; the production of weekly KPI summaries; liaising with direct reports; organising meetings; coordinating activities between business functions; providing support during store visits; acting as a mentor to the junior cohort of graduates; and proactively recruiting a replacement for the end of my placement.

- Took ownership of 'hands on' departmental training, in addition to learning necessary policies and procedures. The departments covered included: customer-facing shop floor departments; HR; accounts and finance; warehouse operations; administration and legal compliance. - After just 3 months took responsibility for the in-store customer order process over the 2015 Christmas trading period - to which I made a significant improvement. As a result, customer complaints were massively reduced alongside a reduction in products given gratis. - Worked as a project coordinator on a three-month project at head office - supporting the roll-out of a new in-store department. As part of the project: I forged relationships with external suppliers, with whom the company still deals; coordinated training between head office and the trial store; ensured external contractors met expected quality standards; and set the precedent for how future trials of the department would run.

- Increased traffic to the company website by 400% through use of SEO, digital marketing and social media i.e. Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. - Identified positive news stories regarding NexusNovus focus industries to create report for the news section of the company website. - Improved standards by proof-reading articles before they were published on the website.- Gained direct experience in a new industry and indirectly gained experience in others through my research. - Treated as an integral member of the team and was accordingly allowed a large degree of autonomy. I used the opportunity to build on my ability to self-motivate and find creative solutions to problems.

- I joined the RAF as an Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic straight from school to complete an apprenticeship with the RAF. - My first posting was to a Chinook Squadron, working closely with the army delivering 24/7 air support, operating in the UK and abroad. During my time at RAF Odiham, I served in Afghanistan twice, went on detachment in the UK and participated in com-petitions organised by the RAF Canoe Association. I was also selected along with four others to work on a specialist team usually reserved for fully qualified technicians.- My second posting was to depth maintenance. My team was responsible for ensur-ing all aircraft had been reconstructed properly. My role was to carry out tests and inspections before, during and post flight on all avionics and electrical systems. Dur-ing my time at RAF Benson I was detached to Kenya for five weeks. - I completed a qualification with the Open University despite having a full-time career and being detached to Kenya for five weeks while studying.
