Managed dealer technical support for Volvo CE products in Australia, New Zealand and New Caledonia. Utilising my communication and interpersonal skills, I collaborated with dealers to actively define and follow up the Business Plan and ensure meeting agreed targets in relation to service sales and profit margin. Along with this, I communicated market intelligence with the management and colleagues within the company and assisted with marketing applications and available machine options to assess product suitability for the market area. Using a variety of training methods, I facilitated technical training programs in warranty processes and conducted audits for compliance with Volvo supplier agreements to ensure distribution of dealer technical documentation and support Volvo CE Intranet and Dealer network. Being a team player, I participated in product support groups and industry-related activities to provide successful dealer technical support. Being in this leadership role, I promoted continuous improvement to encourage my team members to further develop their abilities for greater responsibilities. I implemented service-related decisions and actions in accordance with Volvo CE policies and procedures; evaluated products and services to meet current legal and statutory regulations. On the more technical aspect of this role, I delivered technical and warranty support to dealer service and warranty departments to provide prompt information and minimise machine downtime. I also implemented, analysed and followed up the use of relevant systems and training needs whilst defining our Key Performance Indicators and ensuring continuous improvements at dealer level and within Volvo CE. As a Service Manager for Western Australia, I willingly undertook the responsibility to grow and develop overall sales and service performance of the branch by efficiently coordinating new deliveries with the State Sales Manager and managing a team of 34 members within the department. In order to achieve growth and development, I developed and executed business development initiatives to support the strategic goals of CJD and its departments. One of these initiatives included my retail assignments where I overhauled and repaired client machines through in-house and field services. For our used machinery, I conducted trade-ins to assist the Sales Department in reselling them. I also worked closely with the WIP to achieve monthly efficiency and cost targets and meet client service agreements. Being in a client-facing environment, it was important for me to deliver industry-leading customer experience by surpassing customer satisfaction benchmark and high level of adherence to OHS legislation, Hazard IDs, incident reporting, conflict resolution and following up. In terms of human resource management, I conducted staff performance reviews, coaching and feedbacking to support career development and success in their roles. In the area of financial planning and analysis, I managed financial costs in line with the budget of the branch and contributed in preparing and planning annual costs. In relation to risk management, I minimised future breaches and achieved process and quality standards by identifying risks and achieving compliance KPIs. Key Achievements:• Travelled to regional branches in WA including Port Hedland, Geraldton, Kalgoorlie, Bunbury and Albany twice per year to address KPIs, provide backup and support the service personnel. • Received the Customer Support Award in the F.Y. 2017-2018 by transforming an underperforming WA branch into the top performing branch for parts and services presented in Sweden through effective leadership and coaching.
