Employment Highlights:2017 – present Project Lead and Mechanical Engineer – MMBC (Northumbrian Water Framework)Washington Sewage Treatment Works – managing a design team to deliver a £14 million scheme to upgrade the existing inlet works and replace all associated existing equipment, design and construct three new final settlement tanks including distribution and return sludge activation process and full site electrical upgrade including six new MCC kiosks, incomer and LV distribution, throughout both the I&D and D&C contracts for the scheme. Mechanical design for inlet screens and screenings handling, wash water system, grit detritor, half bridge scrapers, pumping stations and penstocks and valves. Cost and programme control of the design team, working closely with the QS, contracts manager and site manager. Delegating individual task and managing workload of the design team on an individual basis including regular communication between the design team, site team, client and subcontractors. Recording all slippage, additional design requirements and working closely with the QS to recover cost associated with these.Dipton Sewage Treatment Works – working as part of the Water Industry National Environment Programme (WINEP) team to deliver several projects focusing largely around phosphorus removal. Project leading a design team with a key focus of delivering standardisation and efficiencies across all WINEP projects. Providing mechanical design and management of the design team to specifically deliver a scheme at Dipton STW. New ferric and caustic dosing packages and storage facilities, along with new primary and humus settlement, automated desludging and returns process.2019 – 2020 Project Lead and Mechanical Engineer – MMBC (Severn Trent Water Framework)Wergs Sewage Pumping Station and Ipstones Sewage Pumping Station – mechanical design and project leader of a multi-disciplined design team.
