I have spent the last 20 years in a variety of technology customer-facing roles at Microsoft. My current role is exciting as the large and complex nature of my customer is helping me to further develop and grow. The reimagining energy vision the new CEO has set out, makes this a fascinating time to be so closely involved. The opportunity for true business strategic alignment (not just technology) could not be more clear and present. I manage a large team to execute strategic plans focused on Modern Workplace, Applications & Infrastructure, Business Applications and Data & AI with a particular focus on Cloud based solutions.Previously (2015 to 2019), I managed the strategic relationship with HMRC significantly deepening our partnership and supporting their vision to be the most digitally advanced Tax authority in the World. From 2012 to 2015, I was a member of Health & Life Sciences Team as a Strategic Business Manager. From 2004 to 2012, I worked in the partner community managing a mixture of Large Account Reseller, Value Added Reseller, Independant Software Vendor, Systems Integrator and Outsourcing partners. Additionally I owned the SMSP subsidiary delivery of desktop deployment metrics (Windows & Office). Partners I managed included Dimension Data, 2e2, Risual, SCC, Getronics, BT Engage, Esteem Systems, Phoenix, Serco and so on. This was an invaluable time to build the foundations of helping end customers leverage the partner ecosystem of Microsoft to drive business success. From 2000 to 2004, I was an Account Manager in the Microsoft Services team focusing on predominantly Oil & Gas customers such as ExxonMobil & Shell before becoming the Global lead for AstraZeneca.
