Creating and maintaining applicable and robust Selenium tests using C# within extensive regression test libraries for my given projects. Communicating Automation results to the stakeholders on a sprintly basis. Ensuring Source control is maintained at all times. All previous duties currently undertaken, with additional line management and QA project lead responsibilities. I have recently passed a BCS exam in Agile Foundations. I am currently undertaking creation of Test Complete web testing regression libraries to minimise required testing time for new web client builds coming into QA.

In my first year at Wheatley’s I have hit the floor running, using previous experience from my QA role at WNS. I am adding to my knowledge by learning other defect management tools (OnTime and JIRA Cloud) and learning the basics of automation using Test Complete, alongside heavy SoapUi utilization. I am involved in mainly agile projects due to the high deliverables required, on legacy systems as well as new projects simultaneously. Processes are followed accurately which has helped me use QA Huddles and Project ‘Stand up’s to the projects and my advantage, involving all project members from requirement gathering to delivery where advantageous to do so. Other areas of my role include providing estimates and test plans, providing application training to my peers, with ambitious targets being the norm. Within my first year I have also achieved the ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst certification.

Duties included:• Provision of estimates for test complexity and projected test execution time from functional requirements and system design documentation• Formulation and execution of functional test suites for upgrades, change requests and bug fixes on a Workflow modelling and management system.• Customer facing second line Software Support.Initially an Application Support Engineer, primarily focusing on server alerts and reacting to them. Supporting FLO applications used within the business. Swiftly promoted to a QA role, which has allowed me to showcase my attention to detail. This coupled with excellent Support and Communication skills has enabled me to flourish in this role. I have since passed ISTQB Foundation and ISEB Intermediate Software Testing exams, as well as completing a Mobile Application Testing Associate course, and am considered the ‘go-to’ person in this role. Leading successful QA projects from Specification to sign-off in a competent and professional manner.

Primarily responsible for supporting 260 users over two Essex sites, dealing with users over the phone, remotely and face to face. This was a high pressure office environment with the emphasis very much on delivering a high level of service as efficiently as possible. This being a very hands on role, with the day to day break/fix very much managed by myself using Clarify. I found the experience of working in such a small team a valuable one as self dependency plays a big part.

On-going desktop support of 1200 local users (Calls logged via a central service desk – Remedy operated). Supporting an Office 2003 Environment, assisting with Project work including office moves. Solely responsible for New Joiner training, an Active Directory Administrator, also the focal point for Blackberry support on-site and assisting with printer Maintenance, Back-ups and restores, PC imaging/repair/Maintenance. This was a very testing environment in which to provide Desktop Support, being a Power Station. This has made me extremely versatile in the process, sometimes having to deliver the desired solution in different ways. I achieved an ITIL qualification in this role.
