I've had 25 Years experience recruiting people for the Australian Navy, Army and Air Force both as an employee of Manpower Group and as a member of the Royal Australian Air Force. I'm a passionate advocate of the career opportunities available in the Australian Defence Force and I pride myself on my customer service and candidate care skills. I have a detailed knowledge of the Defence Force Recruiting process and eligibility criteria for all career opportunities in the Australian Defence Force.I am currently working with the Business Transformation Team as a Business Analyst. This role sees me responsible for utilising my experience and Defence Force Recruiting knowledge to ensure that policy and procedure documentation is up to date and relevant for all DFR staff to utilise. Prior to my current role, I was the Area Manager of the Defence Force Recruiting Office on the Gold Coast. I filled this role for 12 and a half years from December 2004 to May 2017. In this role I managed the recruiting operations for the Defence Force throughout the Gold Coast and northern NSW regions. I managed a team of Manpower Group employees and Australian Defence Force staff. Whilst the manager of the Gold Coast office, we consistently achieved >100% of allocated targets year on year recruiting quality candidates for the ADF. Prior to my employment with Manpower Group I served in the Royal Australian Air Force for 24 years achieving the rank of Warrant Officer. I worked in the logistics field specialising in and holding qualifications in storage and distribution, air movements, the storage and handling of dangerous goods and explosives. In my last five years in the Air Force I worked as a Defence Interviewer and the Operations Warrant Officer for Defence Force Recruiting Centres throughout NSW and the ACT.
