Shift Manager
Current• Responsible for the day to day management of a shift within a fast paced production environment• Sole responsibility for issues arising during night shifts• Dealing with production meetings, planning workloads, man hours in line with orders and deadlines• Responsible for monthly performance meetings, and presenting data• Inputting information and handling data within the database to produce all reports, facts and figures.• Training staff on the database• Co-ordinating trades when breakdowns occur, acting decisively to avoid loss of production• Central point of contact for TMS, database, clocking off and on and wages etc.• Conducting disciplinaries, grievances, back to work interviews and responsible for absenteeism• Responding quickly to production issues and problem solving to resolve issues effectively• Responsible for all aspects of health & safety and was instrumental in the core working group that implemented the accident reduction programme which was a resounding success within the company
