Curator and manager of the Cromwell Museum in Huntingdon, housed in a 12th century building on the market square. Displays include the finest collection of material related to Oliver Cromwell (1599 - 1658) in the world. Role covers curating the museum's collections, managing and recruiting volunteers, fundraising and development of the museum as well as day to day operations.Developed new long term strategy for the museum with trustees, volunteers and stakeholders; regained full Museum Accreditation for the Museum; developed new website and dynamic social media presence; increased exhibitions and events programme, bringing in 50% increase in visitors and income in first year; raised £170k of grant funds to refurbish the Museum for the first time in over 30 years. During 2020 fundraised successfully through private donations, public giving and grants to keep the Museum afloat, developed online content (videos, online lectures, remote schools sessions and online shop) to keep audiences engaged during COVID-19 pandemic. Have also written for academic publications, new Museum guidebook and edited/introduced republication of Mrs Cromwell’s Cookbook.

Responsibility for development of the Cathedral in a way sympathetic to its main use as a place of worship, but to attract more visitors and income to this nationally important historic site. Developed Forward and Business planning for the organization, partnerships to promote the Cathedral's 900th anniversary and the city as a whole., and opening of a new cafe facility for the Cathedral.

Management of Vivacity Heritage Service, including budget responsibility, programming, strategic development and bid writing. Successes included development of service repositioning, achievement of grants bids for education and exhibitions, major strategic partnership with a national museum. The role involved re-establishing good communications and a positive outlook amongst staff in the service after a difficult period, prior to a restructure.

Managed 40 acre archaeological site for a charitable trust to cover gap in management. Managed 4 staff, 50 volunteers, budget, site and events programme. Introduced more effective maintenance programme and redesigned interpretation for preservation hall.

Led on marketing and events for the museum and advised on events and promotion to the libraries service. Continued and expanded on development of successful events programme and guided walks. Achieved doubling of media profile for the museum.

Helped maintain building and worked on front-line customer service, whilst developing event programme from scratch. Events and activities now a key part of the programme. Developed Peterborough Ghost Walk, which by 2014 has had over 30,000 users and brings in £10,000 annually in revenue.
