Manage the required day-to-day activities of Phase 1 investment grade energy audits and Phase 2 detailed design and construction of energy projects. Key responsibilities include:o Project management of detailed energy studies, energy modelling and feasibility studies.o Writing of studies including solicitation of sub-contractor pricing, detailed energy and operational savings calculations, financial and energy modelling, economic analysis, energy systems specification and conceptualisation.o Planning, scheduling, organising and directing all costs of engineering, consulting and subcontracting of assigned projects. o Development of energy planning, energy policy, and training procedures for internal and external fiscal planning and deployment.o Analysing performance of projects and reporting back to clients as required.o Effectively managing cost and billing. Managing allocation of costs to financial reporting systems.o Overseeing energy initiative development for compliance with specifications, codes, installation techniques and safety activities. Responsible for internal and external customer approval of detailed study and initiative submittals created for the project.o Management of resource and material procurement process for the projects assigned including hiring, project management and liaising with Engineering Consultants.o Reviewing work of colleague energy engineers and project resources. Planning for manpower levels and additional assistance as required.o Development of viable relationships with customers, consultants, prime contractors, subcontractors and trade personnel.

Project managing the identification, design and implementation of energy efficiency projects to multiple cross-sector clients. Main responsibilities include: o Completing site surveys and energy audits to identify inefficiencies and new projects.o Conducting desk based analysis of relevant electricity and gas consumption data.o Preparing and presenting client proposals for energy efficiency projects in HVAC, lighting, refrigeration, electrical systems, BMS, water consumption and on-site renewables/CHP.o Reviewing works packages and negotiating cross-discipline contractor submissions.o Delivering project kick-off and practical completion meetings with key stakeholders.o Managing and applying company H&S process & procedure alongside CDM regulations.o Preparing weekly progress, safety observation and H&S reports for clients.o Attending site to lead & support implementation, commissioning and review of performance testing.

Project Engineer to the CHP delivery team for the implementation at a UK pharmaceutical site, delivering low carbon electricity (2.3MWe), steam and LTHW. Annual savings of approx £870,000 and 4,500 CO2. Main responsibilities include: o Completing and presenting the 2nd stage design study for PIP approval.o Assisting in finalisation of project design, P&ID, equipment selection and layout.o Attending HAZOP and technical review meetings as required.o Reviewing tender packages and contractor submissions.o Procurement of all valves, instruments, heat exchangers and other equipment as necessary.o Dealing with sub-contractors and following up technical queries, quotations, deliveries etc.o Driving weekly progress meetings with the client and maintaining action/event logs of project issues.o Providing technical and management support to the team throughout the implementation period.o Attending site to lead & support construction, commissioning and review of performance testing.

• Responsible for undertaking consultant feasibility studies, to develop new low or zero carbon, district energy projects (typically gas fired Combined Heat & Power CHP and Biomass up to 10MWe).• Conducting site visits, collating and analysing data to provide qualitative and quantitative research.• Developing financial and economic models that are designed for viable implementation.
