Design and consultancy covering design for print, web and UX/UI. I have designed for agencies, SMEs and individuals. Occasionally, I do photography and illustration commissions and video editing.

Introducing and embedding UX into company culture. Create user personas and profiles, user journeys and site maps. Translate concepts into wireframes, prototypes and user flows for a suite of innovative fleet management desktop and mobile software.

Working closely with QA, Engineering and Product teams in Norway, Sweden, Germany, France, Spain and the UK, I am responsible for evolving the user experience in nine complex software products (desktop and app). I also work closely with stakeholders on the Product Strategy.My work spans from user testing with end users as well as internal stakeholders and colleagues to wirefrmaing, click-through prototyping, creating visuals and producing design systems, style guides and specification.I concentrate on user flows, addressing pain points, needs and goals and the structure of complex data systems and functionality. I also helped developed the Asolvi brand.

I led the design of b2b and b2c subscriptions and helped to improve CRO on the store site. I conducted full analysis, using complex qualitative and quantitative data and feedback to inform design solutions. I kept abreast of current industry trends to help inform design decisions. I created UI style guides, UX design, user flows and site maps. I worked with cross-functional teams including CRO teams. Creation of HTML/CSS and Adobe XD prototypes for user testing. I have knowledge of web standards and I worked closely with development and QA teams to test browser and device compatibility.

I designed the client-side web UI for Majestic’s suite of enterprise products, working alongside developers to create elegant and intuitive interfaces (not yet live). I created layouts and flows, HTML/CSS prototypes, defining styles and creating icons, graphics and micro interactions. I created graphic design for social media and marketing.

My role was to strengthen and develop the brand. I was responsible for brand development, mobile app design, the website re-design, marketing strategies and illustrated materials for students.

My focus was branding and website design, including wireframing, user journeys and site maps. Clients included Clearabee and Marine Information Solutions.

Following a mobile-first approach, I led the full re-design of Presto Music’s e-commerce site to a responsive platform. I conducted full competitor analysis and UX research and created HTML/CSS prototypes for testing. Iterative design based on qualitative and quantitative data and feedback to increase CRO. I worked closely with the CEO, development team and marketing team.

Working on Digital Healthcare apps and systems, I led the full creative and UX process from concept to completion of Health Fabric’s brand across all media. I designed the UX and UI for Android and iOS mobile applications and created personas, user flows and journeys. I mentored two members of staff. I initiated, lead and produced the NHS Challenge Prize website and online application portal, including editing front-end HTML, CSS and jQuery.

In a very busy b2b and b2c studio environment, I was responsible for leading the full creative process from concept to completion of digital and print design. I created brand guidelines and marketing plans for GeoPost, DPD and Interlink Express. I produced digital and print design for clients including Yankee Candle, ASOS, EE and Data Select.

In a busy agency studio environment I was responsible for the production of digital and print design for a range of organisations and companies. I led a team of designers as well as providing training to colleagues. I initiated and led the development of digital communications and introduced them to the council. I designed many internal communications and led on the production of digital platforms. This resulted in significant costs savings to BCC in many cases and created a more targeted and low-cost communications tool for our clients. I explored and promoted digital communication as an alternative to traditional print. Both client and agency-side. External clients included Aston University, Mercedes, Library of Birmingham, the NHS and Nectar as well as SMEs.

My role involved:Providing mentoring, advice and support to students on a personal level - one-to-one and group mentoring - research and designing of new courses - setting projects - preparation of teaching materials - marking and moderating work - keeping records and notes for submission to assessment boards - development meetings

Using Quark Express and InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat along with Word and Excel to produce artwork and advertising design for clients such as Sony, Ebuyer, MicroMart, Edimax, CTO and Classic Car Mart. Artworking and preparing files for print, often adhering to strict brand guidelines. Designing adverts, page spreads, promotional artwork, posters, banners and leaflets/brochures.

Using Photoshop, Illustrator and Adobe InDesign to design and produce artwork and full page advertisements for a wide range of businesses and services, from lawyers to pizza outlets. Producing advertisements mainly for the U.S. Yellow Book. Taking initial rough briefs through to complete design solutions.
