Profile bio

About Stuart Pearson

A PhD student in electrical engineering at Massachusetts Institute of Technology driven to (1) be better today than yesterday and (2) help our collective society by planting trees whose shade I may never enjoyAlthough my interests are still broad and open-ended due to the fact I haven't yet found anything uninteresting in engineering, my prevailing career goal is to help mitigate the negative effects of climate change by working with renewable energy. Whether that comes by working with power generation, transmission, distribution, integrated smart grids, by working with semiconductors and photovoltaics, or by making humans multiplanetary, I don't yet know, but I trust my research skills to lead me there.
