Working with the Australian Citrus Industry to increase the awareness and preparedness in the area of biosecurity, particularly as it relates to exotic pests and diseases. This part time role, managed by Plant Health Australia and working closely with Citrus Australia, was funded by Horticulture Innovation Australia. A number of related projects have been implemented under the structure of this project involving surveillance for exotic pest threats of citrus.

Stuart supported SIWI across a number of assignments, providing the agricultural expertise to group assignments. This include Regional Water Intelligence Reports for the Aral Sea Basin, Middle East and Tigris and Euphrates basin.

Worked as the Agribusiness Advisor for the Horticulture Promotion in Kosovo (HPK) project, financed by the Swiss and Danish Governments. HPK worked with local growers, government agencies, advisors and market actors to improve horticultural quality and productivity, as well as access to markets.
