- Set up programme based logistic systems and effective warehouse management in Concern’s 7 WASH and Shelter rub halls in Bentiu POC camp. During the six month deployment I processed the safe unloading of over 200 deliveries through the $2.5 million funded redevelopment phase.- Managed teams of up to 50 during the regular tasks of unloading and stacking stock, whilst supporting further teams throughout the NFI/Shelter distribution - spending concentrated quantities of time building the capacity of national logistics staff in stock recording and supply chain consideration.- Coordinated two major convoys transporting over 400 metric tonnes of timbers and other supplies designated for building 11 000 shelters – prioritising and regulating truck load capacity, arranging appropriate documentation through conflict areas, in addition to liaising with the organisations IOM, WFP and Logistics Cluster during the course of the dispatch. - During my four months in Juba I primarily worked on the formation of 30+ dossiers - setting up preferred supplier agreements for the logistics team in Juba. Further tasks included continual updating of Concern’s Asset Inventory Ledger, drafting contracts for supplies or services requests with supporting waivers if required, completing weekly Quotation Evaluation Forms for the Purchasing Committee meetings. I also directed the Juba office move before deploying to Bentiu.
