CurrentAs a qualified Electrician I began my career as an apprentice with British Steel. I subsequently became a site/section Supervisor then Project Manager and Finally Senior Contracts Manager.My Experience with HV electrical systems has been put to good use several major company's where I worked on both private and local Authority schemes.I am adept at include liaison with client/organisations ensuring the smooth delivery of schemes and particularly for street lighting/comms where I can manage both new installations and maintenance works.My experience includes working with DNO infrastructure, both underground/overhead, overseeing the schedule of works for the delivery of multi-million pound electrical installation schemes. In addition I can procure materials for specific installations, compile RAMS and manage the day to day project Health & Safety. I will produce progress reports and identify staff training requirements as well as detailing the programme of works and management of teams of engineers ( including the procurement of sub-contract labour where necessary ). My duties also include; tool box talks to keep Health & Safety at the forefront, providing support for staff at all levels ensuring objectives and obligations are achieved. As a fully qualified NICEIC manager I can implement training programmes for staff requiring authorisation to operate on the DNO networks, oversee the maintenance and remedial duties, as well as carrying out the testing of installations and maintenance works.Available for HERS Authorised Officer, Qualified Supervisor, Signing and Portfolio Building, For Street Lighting and Highway Sectors.
