A Chartered member of the Institute of Building M.C.I.O.B and the Institute of Building Engineers M.C.A.B.E Currently acting as Project quality surveyor for Newport City Homes .My Previous remit was compliance and servicing management, PPM, and reactive response, as well as project management for capital works including M&EWith 36 years in the industry I consider myself to be an agile operator with a broad knowledge (when I started the term Facilities Management didn’t exist. It was called “maintenance and minor new works” and the “soft services”, cleaning catering and security, were the responsibility of the client).In this time, I have been responsible for running both projects and maintaining the estate for a vast array of clients including local authorities, the Ministry of Defence (both advising and constructing / maintaining), Army and RAF, Retail, Insurance, Civil service, and various clients as diverse as private domestic properties to an Atomic Weapons Establishment.Experience gained over the years including recently being responsible for mechanical and electrical Projects and maintenance means that I am rarely fazed by the general issues encountered on a daily basis and am able to provide quick and cost effective solutions for our client.In my spare time I relax by riding my motorbike, and taking part in car rallies as a co-driver (international rallies licence holder) Quote “Good drivers have dead flies on the sidewindows” Walter Rohrl
