Leading a team of 35 strategy and SHE professionals to set safety strategy and develop implementation plans for public transport, road risk and construction and projects as part of our Vision Zero commitment. Focusing on evidence-led intervention and measurable improvement in SHE outcomes and indicators across TfL’s operations and strengthening underlying systems by enhancing SHE business processes. - SHE strategy and improvement plans developed for all key areas- Streamlining, digitising and updating SHE Management System and Assurance.- Systematic approach to culture improvement- Developing strategy and delivery plans for public reporting of SHE performance- Providing strategic input to corporate strategy- Working with Government and stakeholders - Sponsoring overall TfL Covid-19 lesson-learned analysis

In addition to my primary job roles, in 2016 I was asked to lead pan-TfL activity to ensure that risks related to Brexit were identified and mitigated. From 2016 to date I have created and led a pan-TfL virtual team to identify key risks and deliver mitigations internally and in partnership with external stakeholders.

Secondment to temporary role to mobilise and embed implementation of our Vision Zero plan to reduce road risk. Accountable for overall safety outcomes through coordinating cross TfL and external action.- Led a strategic overview programme for Vision Zero.- Sponsored new approach to modelling road risk to support better targeting and move towards leading indicators- Acted as lead TfL representative to media and stakeholders on Vision Zero. Included chairing joint steering group with Met Police, developing a broader stakeholder coalition in support of Vision Zero.- Member of Surface Director group contributing to Surface planning and governance, including acting as Surface Gold during major incidents.
