Spent the last eight years as head of compliance teams responsible for both the establishment of compliance functions and day-to-day governance and compliance monitoring. Co-Founding Partner of a boutique asset management company establishing its own bespoke front to back operational platform and complete regulatory and compliance infrastructure. A wealth of experience gained in establishing and running a financial services company in an ever increasing regulatory environment. 10 years as Executive Board member with specific responsibility for Compliance and Operational Risk oversight incorporating all areas of an asset management business. 6 years as Compliance Officer (CF10) and Money Laundering Reporting Officer (CF11) covering all investment, operational and regulatory compliance requirements and assumed many roles typically undertaken by a Chief Operating Officer.Previous experience as an Investment Manager running investment portfolios and analysing companies and countries primarily in emerging markets using a rigorous and robust investment process. Experience managing a variety of investment vehicles including Investment Trust, UCITS and NURS regulated investment companies and segregated mandates.
