Customer Support Manager responsible for providing engineering support to airlines in the Middle East region in support of the In-Flight Entertainment and Communication (IFEC) systems installed on major civil airlines and a number of VVIP operators. Managed a team of Customer Support Engineers providing on-site Field Engineering Support to a major airline. We worked in tandem with the Airline and the Maintenance Operations to ensure that faults were identified and resolved quickly with minimal disruption to the passenger experience. We liaise with multiple departments within the airline to ensure good communication paths and that all the needs of the airline are addressed from new requirements, through managing training opportunities and problem resolution.Responsible for ongoing support and maintenance of In-Flight Entertainment and Communication Systems. Systems Engineer involved in HUMS, Engine Monitoring and ROTABS.Employed as a Systems Engineer with system responsibilities in the development of Integrated Health and Usage Monitoring Systems for Helicopters and Engine Monitoring Systems for AV-8B. Responsibilities include requirements capture and management and co-ordination between hardware design for airborne software and a groundstation for review and diagnostic purposes. This involved the production of design reports, agreement of design proposals and the capturing of requirements. System development all carried out under certification process defined by RTCA DO-178B to level C. Involved in the planning and management of projects integrating diagnostic tools into the groundstation from outside sources. Particular focus on the subject of rotor track and balance.Systems Engineer with responsibilities for the development, production and support of Crash Protected Recorders to meet standards imposed by ED55/ED56A and ED112. TSO C123a, C124a and the JAR/FAA regulations. A concurrent role within the development of Flight Data Acquisition Units for fixed and rotary wing aircraft to supplement the mandatory Crash Protected Recorders. Involved in development and support of Quick Access Recorders for Operational Flight Quality Assurance monitoring.
