· Working on various projects for the group including the implementation of MMR (Mortgage Market Review) which was an industry wide changes that needed to be implemented· Implementing changes to lending policy and the systems that are used· Providing support to underwriters with their queries on lending policy and system· Problem solving and providing solutions to areas of the business where improvements can be made· System testing when changes are made to ensure the changes are functioning correctly

· Acting as the point of contact for 9 branches regarding any queries with criteria, systems and processing· Assessing mortgage applications and analysing potential risk, including cases outside of standard policy· Signing off mortgages up to the value of £1,000,000· Reviewing applications, ensuring that the case and documents have been processed correctly, income correctly verified, and confirming the application meets standard policy· Providing training and support for my branches, maintaining regular contact with branch managers and their staff to advise of any criteria changes or change of processes

· Processing mortgage applications and post received from brokers· Assessing the quality of documents received and cases to ensure that the risk of lending is minimal· Dealing with mortgage brokers, solicitors, and applicants over the phone as well as by post and email
