· Acting as the point of contact for 9 branches regarding any queries with criteria, systems and processing· Assessing mortgage applications and analysing potential risk, including cases outside of standard policy· Signing off mortgages up to the value of £1,000,000· Reviewing applications, ensuring that the case and documents have been processed.

· Processing mortgage applications and post received from brokers· Assessing the quality of documents received and cases to ensure that the risk of lending is minimal· Dealing with mortgage brokers, solicitors, and applicants over the phone as well as by post and email

· Direct customer contact· Pre-litigation and litigation procedures· Mortgage advice options and debt counselling· Liaison between clients, financial institutions and solicitors· Computer data input and administrative duties
