About Stuart Rose
Active entrepreneur and investor emphasizing pharma/biotech and medical devices but with interests in any for-profit startup that solves problems, especially big problems. Fundamentally, I start companies and invest in very early stage companies with the potential to address the way the world will be in the future. I particularly like companies that have disruptive technologies or business models. Most of my career was spent as Senior Manufacturing and Business Executive in the global Pharmaceutical industry. I have lived and worked in places as disparate as Puerto Rico and Russia. I have had four JVs in China and worked extensively throughout Asia including India, and Australia. My consultancy, Supply Chain Strategies International, advises clients about how to use manufacturing and supply chain resources to gain competitive advantage. Emphasis is placed on low cost of operations while providing highly customizable services to customers using non-traditional approaches. Examples of startups with which I am currently involved include: Biophagy, a company developing new molecules that stimulate or inhibit autophagy to treat diseases of aging, Go-Station, a company with a novel, technology driven business model that is installing a network of electric vehicle charging stations around the United States, AdWallet, a company with a novel platform that is expected to disrupt the advertising industry by paying people instead of intermediaries to watch ads, mPower Technology, a company developing very efficient and very light weight solar cells for applications from space to IoT and roofing, Wildlife Protection Management, a company that has developed technology for delivering medications including contraceptives to wild horses and other feral animals (deer, pigs, camel, kangaroo, and so on) and FatPipe New Mexico a network of collaboration/coworking spaces that are expected to become the workplaces of the future. In addition I am a Venture Partner in Tramway Ventures, a small seed stage investment firm based in New Mexico and I own and operate a biotechnology focused business incubator, The BioScience Center, in Albuquerque, NM. Further I serve on the Board of Directors of New Mexico Community Capital, an organization focused on helping Native American entrepreneurs.
Listed skills include Pharmaceutical Industry, Start Ups, Fda, Biotechnology, and 20 others.

Entrepreneurs reach their fullest potential in environments where they can feed off the energy, ideas and innovations of like-minded people. Unlike many manufacturing companies in China that produce for the West we believe the future is in China. As a result our approach will be to convince Western Companies that they should produce IN CHINA FOR CHINA TO WESTERN STANDARDS.

CurrentI licensed technology from the University of New Mexico and began this company that in researching the use of autophagy to address, primarily, diseases of aging. Autophagy is a cellular process that allows cells to "clean" themselves. As people age, autophagy becomes less and less efficient. The licensed technology, which requires further research, provides avenues that could restore the efficiency of autophagy as people age and therefore, theoretically, help in the treatment of many of the diseases of aging.
