Stuart exited a 30+ year career as a Miami-based CPA, entrepreneur, and CEO of a technology company he founded in 1997. He then served as President of Beth David Congregation and on the Center for Jewish Life in Miami, Florida. As a principal at regional accounting firm MBAF for over twenty years and a member of MBAF’s three-person Executive Committee, Stuart was integrally involved in shaping all aspects of the Firm’s strategic direction, including negotiating mergers and acquisitions, and overseeing cyber policies and technology practices. Stuart started WhiteOwl, the Firm’s technology consulting division and conceptualized PaperSave®, a SAAS based AP automation, workflow, and document management platform. Stuart provided business advisory services and litigation support in the areas of information systems, financial and operational reporting, business planning, valuation, divorce, due diligence, and business damages. A Certified Public Accountant with a Master’s Degree in Management from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University, Stuart also earned Accreditation in Business Valuation from the AICPA. Stuart served as Technology Committee Chair for the United Way of Miami putting his knowledge and expertise to work for the community.
