Avant Homes is a privately-owned housebuilder which currently operates in Scotland, north east England, Yorkshire and the Midlands. We are hugely ambitious and accelerating towards our next milestone of doubling output to 4,000 homes a year and becoming a £1bn turnover business by 2023.Our 2017-18 financial performance saw Avant Homes leap 15 places in The Sunday Times Top Track 250 to become the UK’s 31st fastest growing private mid-market company.Our revenues were up 21 per cent to £447m for the year ended 27 April 2018, driven by rapid growth in completions and a continued increase in our private average selling price. Our operating profit grew 43 per cent to £65.9m from £46m, making it our third consecutive year of record financial results.We achieved 1,903 total completions, up 16 per cent compared with the prior year, and our private average selling price rose to £257,000 from £242,000, primarily generated by site and unit mix changes.We now have 71 active outlets compared to 50 at the same point last year and a strong forward order book totalling £163m. With 69 per cent of our H1 volumes already secured, we have an excellent foundation for further growth in 2018-19.To enable us to reach our next milestone at pace, we have opened a fifth operating region, Avant Central, and are already planning our sixth. We are also further boosting our sales by rolling out an extended product range in 2018 that offers a wider selection of size and price options to prospective buyers.We firmly believe that through the constant advancement and evolution of the Avant Homes brand and our product, we will transform UK housebuilding for the better and for the ultimate benefit of homebuyers.
