As Assistant Principal I will establish and lead the behaviour, personal development and welfare to ensure the development of Catch22 schools as a catalyst for social change, improving sustainable outcomes for young people and the community as a whole. My responsibility will include maintaining and improving Catch22 schools’ inspection ratings through the delivery of high quality and high challenge, people focused and compliant education.

As Education Training Manager I have overseen the mandatory training of over 500 members of staff, including Safeguarding; Equality and Diversity and Prevent training. Furthermore I have delivered a range of training on Safeguarding, Spreadsheet Training and Safer Handling.

Home Based

TESS is an educational charity that support students in Teso, Uganda to complete their education and training beyond a primary level. This support is provided by sponsors in the UK, Europe and America and allows students (mainly girls) to complete secondary education and beyond in one of the poorest regions in the world. As UK Country Manager I oversee all sponsorship, source new sponsors and provide a strong communication link between the sponsors and students in Uganda.

Successful accreditation of school with quality marks such as the Healthy Schools status (2011). Development of school partnership agreement with a school in Kenya, including visit to Kenya in May 2012. Fully trained to Safeguarding Level 2 – Intermediate (2012). Creation of successful relationships with students, colleagues and all other stakeholders.
