Stuart became Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute in 1995 and acts as an Examiner and a member of the Technical Committee on their behalf. He also acts as a Project Monitor for the Heritage Lottery Fund. Primarily his role is winning and directing positive work through the Practice. He also acts as a visiting lecturer at Manchester Metropolitan University and has contributed to several national publications on environmental design and flood management including giving evidence to All Party Parliamentary Groups.
