Embracing multi-account architecture with centralised CI/CD pipelines deploying cross-account to ECS clusters leveraging load-balancing, auto-scaling, HTTP API interfaces, and service discovery. AWS best practices, security, and automation are key.

Multiple roles including consulting/managed services work as well as engineering responsibilities. Consulting roles included 11 months onsite at NAB, plus Virgin Australia and Ambulance Victoria amongst other smaller engagements. Engineering projects centered around LimePoint's DriftGuard product, and included supporting the enterprise version of the product as well as leading the project to develop a SAAS-based offering of that same product in the AWS cloud.

OverviewInitial employment was with SPL World Group, who were subsequently purchased by Oracle in 2007. Change of employment was due to job uncertainty at EDS in relation to off-shoring.RoleInitially this role was to provide technical support for APAC customers utilising the SPL Utilities Customer Care & Billing System. In 2009 this was extended to include functional support following the resignation of the only other member of the APAC support team.

OverviewEmployment was through EDS, however, the end-customer was Telstra – specifically the Telstra Billing system (Flexcab) and the Telstra Fraud Detection system (FDMS).RoleInitially this role was to provide production support for Telstra’s Flexcab billing system utilising mainframe technologies. In 2004 the role changed to one supporting Telstra’s Unix-based fraud management system. This was a client-facing role requiring constant communication with the Telstra application portfolio manager and the Telstra corporate customer.
