carrying out visual and detailed surveys of stations, depots, signal boxes as well as other lineside properties.recognising defect severity and acting accordingly to ensure that the property is kept safe for those working and travelling on the infrastructure.liaising with Asset Managers to ensure correct remedial action is carried out and in due time.Management of a workbook of property, ensuring compliance is kept with yearly survey dates and then working as well as possible to a KPI so that the surveys are submitted in good time.carrying out and helping to play possession works as well as acting as a COSS during shifts. Speaking with the signallers to take a line block to allow the work to take place as well as speaking to the Engineering Supervisor on larger projects.

In my spare time I run the gaming website Thumb Culture, carrying out all aspects of running the website. From creating and editing articles, through to contacting PR agencies to see if we can cover their games and technology. As well as writing I also edit videos and images using the Adobe Suite for YouTube as well as graphics for the site itself.Over the past 12 months, we have gone through a major rebrand of both the website as well as all social media platforms. hHave helped grow the website to now receive 80k unique visitors a month (Dec 22) as well as a team of 10 writers.I pride myself in the relationships I've grown with different industry professionals to enhance the opportunities that my team get involved with.

Currently working on the CEFA contract. Carrying out building surveys to Network Rail property including train stations and maintenance depots. Working with Atrium software to enter details and uploading onto a national database.

Carrying out day to day activities in regards to project programming, use of AutoCAD to create and amend detailed drawings. Helping out bidding on new projects and creation of bid documentation.Carrying out structural surveys and tests to concrete structures including bridges and car parks. The creation and amending of reports associated with surveys including the recommendation for further works.
