I am a real estate licensee in the state of Texas. I have taken the nonconformist path of giving large commission rebates to Buyers of new homes anywhere in Texas. My Buyers earn this large cash back rebate by doing much of their homebuying research themselves. Using their own time, online resources, and my guidance, they search out their communities, schools, and builders. Most of their work is done on the internet but savvy buyers actually spy out the land by driving to the New Home Communities to see what is actually offered. By doing this they earn 83% of all my commission when they buy a new home anywhere in Texas. I also practice the same concept with buyers of resale homes in the Houston area but usually with a lesser rebate because of the increased work load and risk. I have been giving Texas Real Estate Rebates since 2003. It hasn't always been popular with some of my peers but my Clients always love it. My goal in real estate is always to educate my clients and the public; to bring them out of the shadows of old school real estate gatekeeping and assuring proper representation for all principals in real estate transactions.
