Senior leader with a breadth of experience across public, private and third sectors. My career has included senior leadership roles in the UK’s insolvency regime, a not-for-profit sporting and mass participation national governing body, and the tourism and leisure sectors. My focus is on people, performance, effective management and strategic leadership. After spending 20+ years investigating financial failure and corporate misconduct, I am currently working with the Angling Trust - the recognised national governing body for recreational fishing in England - helping them to grow in a sustainable and manageable manner. I lead on a varied portfolio including our people (including HR, EDI, welfare and safety), many of our core business systems, contract negotiation, compliance and governance for our staff, members and volunteer networks. I am currently focussed heavily on equality, diversity and inclusion including reviewing any barriers to participation from under represented members of society; ensuring continued compliance with the S&RA's code for sport governance; and reviewing our systems to ensure the safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults.Level 1 angling coach.
