I have always had a passion to help others, sometimes through the mentoring of my colleagues, and most recently by advocating for the alleviation of poverty and fundraising for a non-profit organisation.Over the many years I gained experience in building relationships with UHNWI and built my own asset management business by providing a holistic approach to asset management, building trust and confidence in me, that has created life-time relationships. The company grew year-on-year until I retired from watching my 8 monitors every day.Through running a small sales team, I became knowledgeable of the use of a CRM to set individual and company KPIs. I also managed a team of volunteers at a local charity shop. Here I honed my skills at personnel management, handling individuals ranged in age from 14 through to 80. I hopefully inspired many of them to grow personally and all learnt new skills that some thought they would never be capable of.I am currently responsible for the cultivation of relationships with wealth advisers and their clients, to raise the funding to reduce undernutrition in Africa and Asia. Undernutrition accounts for just under half the deaths of under-5s every year. It is a problem that can be solved and through the innovative funding mechanism that means for every $1 I raise, a minimum $4 is spent on programmes. I had the privilege to see the work in Liberia. To see the funding being used to build the country’s healthcare systems and the dedication of the health professionals as they educate mothers into providing the nutrition to themselves and their children that will prevent stunting, was emotional and inspiring. It is a role that I should have been doing years ago. But then again, I would not have gained the experience I have to make me as productive. Show less

Giving of Strategic advice on Fixed Income Investments for UHNWIThe role was to advise clients on their financial investments primarily in Fixed Income securities. Working with my business associate I managed a portfolio of well over $200m.Co-ordinated the management of a group of UHNWI with both Investment Banks and their Family Offices. I made successful presentations to UHNWI for the purpose of acquiring more financial assets to be managed.
