👉 For brick & mortar retailers to survive, I believe that they must offer great customer experiences.When in-store shoppers receive poor customer service, 67% leave without buying and 39% never return. At Becco we created a set of tools to help store leaders ensure that their teams deliver great customer experiences that generate increased sales and and repeat customers.I am a 3rd generation retailer and have worked on the tech side of the business for many years. I have worked for retailers, retail consulting companies, and retail software companies. I have worked on a full range of retail applications from POS to Merchandising to managing the Supply Chain.It frustrates me when I go shopping and I get poor customer service; or when store associates are inattentive; or when I know more about the products they sell than they do. It distresses me when stores have to shut their doors. For 2 reasons. 1) I feel bad for all the people who worked so hard to keep the business afloat.2) It reinforces the false belief that Retail is a dying industry. Which it is not.Good stores thrive. Bad stores close.
