After a successful 10 years progressing though the J Sainsbury's Management Training scheme, I achieved the position of deputy Store Manager. I then turned my attention to my life long passion cars, and Motorsport. This led me to become a Sales Executive for Audi. Once again, after gaining the knowledge and focusing on understanding the business, I quickly gained the key skills and attributes to add to my previous Management training. This assisted me to once again progress my career from Sales Executive to Sales Controller/ Business Manager and to finally become a fully accredited Audi Sales Manager. At Inchcape I quickly progressed to Head Of Business and completed my BMW/MINI certification. I now have just started my new role as General Manager for the Motorline Group for Volkswagen. Over the last 2 years (some of the most challenging!that I have ever experienced (Covid to name a big one) Bit through all this I am proud to say that I have meet a great bunch of individuals, some amazing inspirational Leaders which have allowed me to be me and intern brought out the very best. Winning awards and leading the way have been a common theme which makes me proud of all my team and how I have continued to grow. Taking an underperforming centre into the top 7 in the country and from the red into the black makes me immensely proud and maintaining that level consistently shows how important it is as a leader to empower and support all of your team to deliver the best. We now continue on this journey with Marshall Motor Group following their acquisition of the Motorline Group with even greater opportunity’s presenting itself, the future is exciting, watch this space……Robins & Day part of the Stellantis group is my new venture. I have the privilege to lead a Dual Franchise state of the art dealership in Peugeot & Vauxhall with the task of building and strengthening the business across all KPI’s. In my First Full year i have achieved many milestones with the team, from recognition awards, driving the business up the scorecard to Most Improved dealership in group whilst increasing customer engagement and results across the board.
