I have been involved in Construction all my working life, from my work with the Builders Merchant industry right through to award winning and innovative property development and on to managing multiple projects for the timber frame/SIPs manufacturing Industry. I have a passion for construction and have worked on some great projects and developments at all levels. I enjoy being involved in the early design stages and seeing a scheme through to the very end, resolving issues and getting the details sorted, seeing what was an idea on paper materialize to a home or a premise, changing the environment and doing it responsibly.I have researched in depth modern methodologies and materials and put them into practice, have embraced the carbon challenge and the need to make it commercially viable, I have evolved with the industry and still enjoy the multiple challenges and opportunities it affords me.The Industry is evolving and becoming far more professional, and we need to continue this momentum in education and ongoing training, and we need to look for some very pro-active manufacturers and supply chains.I started with Lego as a youngster, things just got bigger!
