CurrentPipeline Services Department.Project work including Lead Engineering roles on a number of large scale as well as smaller scale projects, encompassing all relevant project engineering from FEED through to detailed operational engineering, hazard identification and risk assessment and supervision of operations in various Oil and Gas theatres, including Production Platforms, Dive Support Vessels and Onshore Terminals. Pre-Commissioning• Pipeline Strength Testing and full system Leak Testing to relevant standards• Riser Annulus Vacuum Testing and• Barrier Testing operations to ensure the safety of all personnel and equipment.De-Commissioning• De-oiling using various chemicals• De-gassing of pipeline systems.Flow Assurance• Pressure Pulse (deposit profile) Survey;• SureTherm® using various chemical compounds to exothermically remove a wax deposit from a pipeline and• Smart Plug® Isolation Tool setting.Key ProjectsPremier Oil - Balmoral Decommissioning - Lead Engineer / Field EngineerOver multiple campaigns, involving De-Oiling, Gasket Testing and Barrier Testing operations.Apache - Aviat Pre-Commissioning - Lead EngineerFCG; Strength Testing; Leak Testing and Dewatering of the flowline and Vacuum Annulus Testing of the Riser.Shell Lomond - Pressure Pulse Survey - Field Engineer Survey to determine the deposit profile of a suspected wax build up.Nexen - Ettrick and Blackbird - De-Commissioning- Field Engineer De-commissioning which involved de-oiling, gasket and barrier testing operations.Maersk - Culzean DFPV - Lead Engineer Responsible for engineering the Drain, Flush, Purge and Vent methodology for the Culzean uHP/HT platform topside process systems.Pipeline Calculations Spreadsheet - Lead Engineer - Creating a new calculations spreadsheet to accurately model pipeline flushing, pigging, dewatering, leak and strength testing operations; as well PRV sizing, gauge plate sizing along with various other relevant pipeline calculations.
