I am currently Operations & Risk Director at Close Finance CI Limited. The key responsibilities of this role are to work with our teams in Jersey and Guernsey to ensure our clients and business partners receive a high-quality service through operational efficiency whilst providing financial solutions that are tailored to meet their individual needs. I am also passionate about creating an environment where our team members feel valued and recognise the contribution they bring to our business.Much of my earlier career was spent in the banking sector, ultimately operating at a senior manager level with responsibility for various relationship management teams, looking after high net worth and business clients. During that time I built a successful track record in delivering financial results and business goals whilst maintaining a strong focus on motivating, developing and empowering customer-facing teams. I also have significant operational experience as well as responsibility for compliance and regulatory issues, including the application of these skills in third sector organisations. From 2011 until early 2022 I was Commercial Director at Freedom Media. This start-up business grew significantly during that period in terms of its range of services and diversity of client base. Development of a talented and creative team produced great results in the areas of design, video production, web development, digital strategy, event management and media training. This success was recognised with numerous national Chartered Institute of Marketing Awards on behalf of several of our clients from 2016 to 2021.Alongside this, I carried out an operations management role and served as a Director of Freedom Church Jersey Ltd.
