Eziroll, Gliderol and the BDA group were all privately owned, until 2021 when the entire group was publicly purchased by dormakaba group. Eziroll is a manufacturer of industrial and commercial doors, Gliderol Garage doors manufacture garage doors in 4 states nationally and Best doors has access to all areas of residential and commercial doors and openers. The company has been manufacturing and supplying to the market since 1973, employing over 200 staff between the businesses.I am responsible for the engineering and maintenance teams, new machinery, production lines, products and continuous development of a new range of products including production and installation related requirements for all 13 sites.• Lead a dedicated team of engineers and maintenance personnel• oversaw the management of the strategic acquisition of Gliderol Garage doors• Introduced Australia first automated sectional door processing line with auto stile insertion.• Designed, tested and patented Gliderols new wind related doors to meet Australain standards

F&P is a publicly listed international manufacturer of white goods. The Cleveland site produced in excess of 150,000 refrigerator products per annum for global distribution, with 350 staff, and total revenue of over 1 Billion dollars• Designed new factory layout minimizing waste as well as relocation planning to minimize loss of production• Managed staff engineering/maintenance/operators (expats and local)• Set up training aids and safety manuals to assist in training Thai speaking operators• Co-ordinate local suppliers to set up new plant• Provide engineering management & knowledge with new relocation

Managed/designed $1M+ project for new production line with the new introduction of ice & water products into the Cleveland site while also increasing production of most complex model by 25%.Designing and manufacturing a new conveyer, using sheet metal folding methods at lower cost than conventional equipment, saving around $100k.• Delivered cost savings through reducing steel gauge of cabinet panels• Solved rework problems allowing a faster more streamline system• Reduced labour costs and improved safety with ergonomic workstations• Tooling modifications to suit new products• Product development on new components• Tightening tolerances in pressed steel applications (foam leaks)
