Blast Resolve is a full connectivity hardware and software system and system of medical care for ambulance telemedicine and medical diagnostics connecting physician experts to patients in real time in extreme rural, mountainous, remote, and inaccessible regions. Blast Resolve is a communications platform that can provide diagnosis and care for many acute medical disorders, including stroke, in moving ambulances. A particular focus is on providing prehospital and ongoing care to rural and disadvantaged patients and their communities.

Basic and Clinical Research

Continuation of Funded research, started in July of 1984, on the thyroid hormone regulation of molecular, neuroatomical, and behavioral brain motor system development using animal and in vitro models of human maternal hypothyroidism and congenital hypothyroidism

The Federal Brain and Tissue Bank was an international rapid planning and procurement service for brain and other tissues at autopsy and biopsy for tissues to be used by investigators internationally for understanding genetic disorders to provide potential new diagnostic and treatment modalities. This complex operation involved over a 100 collaborators and employees, multiple external contracts, specialized tissue diagnostics, including neuropathology, recombinant DNA and molecular biology techniques, monitored 24/7 storage, a marketing operation, and providing specific tissues with detailed clinical and pathological summaries to researchers worldwide. Over 5000 patient cases with tissues were collected during the period of operation.
