About Stuart Stevens
Retired in 2014, several surgeries later I decided to slow down and relax. Started fixing and making lamps in my shop, currently the lamps I make are sold at a store called The Alley on Cooper that some friends own and operate. I have branched out and started fixing antique fans and other antique electronics. For the previous ten years I was establishing an EOD Company for the NC National Guard. I was responsible for Recruiting qualified personnel and scheduling, coordinating, planning and conducting training for the Company. I have also coordinated, planned and conducted numerous range sweeps both Conus and OConus, I have planned for and conducted EOD/IED classes and training for numerous military units both foreign and U.S. I have fulfilled the duties of the Company Commander for the unit while deployed and at home station as well as all First Sergeant duties and responsibilities during which time I was also responsible for all Operation responsibilities. I handled all day to day functions for the unit to include scheduling training, maintaining and ordering equipment and ensuring the Soldiers assigned to the unit were paid, promoted and all admin issues were handled.
