I’ve dedicated my life to the art and science of sales. All business, regardless of industry is driven by sales, and sales is a relationship business. It’s about building trust and caring into long-term relationships with clients.I began my sales career as a financial advisor at a large, international firm. I went from an eager 24-year old working out of a cubicle, to building a successful practice with $60 million in assets under my management, and landing a corner office. It didn’t take me long to appreciate the difference between a one-time sale and a lifelong trusting client. Instead of trying to predict the markets, I took the time to listen to my clients. I learned about their goals and what was most important to them. Then, I created a financial plan to help them reach their goals, while maintaining an acceptable level of risk based on our previous conversations. By developing a structured client service model, I was able to leverage my existing relationships into many referrals.After 13+ years in the business, I’m ready for a new challenge. I look forward to concentrating my sales experience and expertise on developing a book of client relationships in a new industry.
