Stuart leads our Process Optimisation portfolio which focuses on maximising process efficiencies within a business, with specific emphasis on reduction in process emissions to air, effluent discharge and solid waste management. He also co-ordinates the assessment of climate change adaptation initiatives, which includes a review of how climate change can affect business strategy formulation and determination of liabilities. This later focus area includes the calculation of a businesses carbon footprint and the provision of recommendations on climate adaptation measure to be implemented. Risk Reduction and Mitigation is critical for Financial Investors to satisfy funding requirements, (IFC, UNPRI, ILO, EHS, SFDR, TCFD, etc.) and includes Phase 1 ASTM1527 Assessments, Due Diligence Assessments, and the development of Environmental Programs and Management Systems. Adaptation leads to the development of new projects and business strategy for future investment and portfolio growth, including vertical integration of assets, sustainable investment and fund management.
