Providing venue security and safety for a Grade 1 Listed building and close protection to high net worth individuals, families, and VIP’s whilst within the building at high profile events.Key Tasks• Close protection to guests where necessary to afford them an additional layer of security whilst within the building.• Conducting patrols of the building to identify any persons who may have hostile intent and to try and identify anyone that might be conducting hostile reconnaissance. • Providing a discreet security presence to ensure that no one gains entry who is not authorised to access, and to give guests confidence that we are there to look after their safety and security.• Staying in close contact and communication with team members to ensure that all vulnerable areas are secure and to react to unforeseen events.• Providing first line medical response in the event of a medical incident, and arranging onward movement to medical facilities where necessary.• Conducting anti-surveillance patrols of the local area to try and identify those who may have hostile intent.• Ensuring that all areas of the building that should be secure, remain secure, and that exit and emergency routes are kept clear.

Driving hazardous loads of petrol and diesel across the South East on England on behalf of BP.Key Tasks• Conducting daily, weekly and monthly vehicle checks to ensure the serviceability of the vehicle and that it has been correctly maintained for consistent use.• Ensuring that strict health and safety protocol are managed, from both a general health and safety perspective, and also with regard to the safety of carrying a hazardous load.• Stating in close communication with the Hoyer Operations Team throughout the drive, detailing any issues on route and confirming when at key points on the route being driven.• Having to be extra cautious on the UK roads, not only driving to basic road laws, but also driving in a safe manner consistent with carrying a hazardous load.• Trained in medical aid, to ensure that I can spot the signs of illness early and make sure that the vehicle and hazardous load are safe while the situation can be addressed.
