Primarily for Audi UK.- Maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction, reflected in high feedback scores.- Delivery of core and advanced level subjects alike, such as Electrical Diagnosis, Diagnostic Equipment, ABS/ESC Systems, Occupant Safety Systems, Chassis systems, 4 Wheel alignment, Diagnostic Techniques, Infotainment and Hybrid Vehicles. - Design, development and delivery of IMI/ATA accredited assessments. (Level 2, 3 and 4)- Re-development of legacy course content and training materials, updating as and when necessary to encompass latest technologies and products. - In doing so, liaising with other departments within the brand to gain up to date and relevant information in order to ensure training is current.- Manage the maintenance and upkeep of training assets and equipment such as the vehicle fleet and training aids.- Continuous personal development through research, observation and hands on investigation. My primary role was to carry out reactive and preventative maintenance on a wide range of ‘Crew-Served Weapon’ systems fitted to front line helicopters including M134 Minigun, M60(D), GPMG (M240), M3M 0.50” Cal Heavy Machine Gun (HMG), various Small Arms and all associated role equipment. Fundamentally, this involved diagnosis and rectification of mechanical and electrical faults, often in fast paced and dynamic operational conditions, ensuring aircraft and systems remain on-line in mission and time critical circumstances.Other roles included;-Issue, receipt, accounting and testing of explosives in MOD Explosive Storage Area's.-Management and accounting of Small Arms weaponry including minor radioactive sources.-Quality Assurance checks against internal publications and processes.-Following strict aviation tool control regulations including tool management, storage, usage, serviceability and calibration checks.-Integration and interaction with various trades to prepare, install and functionally test weapons and countermeasure defence systems on operational Front Line Helicopters -Implementation and control of a Hazardous Storage Facility, utilising relevant H&S and COSHH guidelines. Monitoring and controlling stock levels, replenishing and testing as required.-Updating of equipment log cards, databases and maintenance records, in both paper and I.T based formats, creating maintenance schedules to suit.-Mentoring, training and guidance of new and old team members on all aspects of Armament trade employment.-Delivery of clear, accurate and concise briefings to colleagues and management.-Employment at a higher level above specification in place of absent senior management.-Liaison and integration with Project Teams, Senior Management and outside agencies to provide feedback and assist in Trials, Procurement and Introduction to service of new systems and procedures.
