Working in a fast paced environment within the TV and Film industry supplying facilities trailers to multiplayer productions. Key Responsibilities:• Maintain full compliance of the fleet in line with all vehicles operator licensing legislation and regulation, including accurate vehicle records.• Servicing in line with regulations and driver hours, working time and daily checks.• To maintain and Manage all department internally and externally : Workshop, HGV Garage, Housekeeping, Shunters, Drivers, and heads of departments (Heads of Departments).• Driver hiring and training enhancing equipment familiarisation.• Health and Safety.• Liaising with agencies in conjunction with driver requirements.• Daily communication with HOD's on film set to ensure professional service is provided.• Time sheets.• Liaise with accounts to ensure correct customer billing has been processed.• To ensure all drivers documentation is complete and passed to account to make sure driver are paid correctly.• To make sure all documentation correct for each vehicle: Tax, insurance etc.• Regular meetings with transport manager to ensure all vehicles have been MOT'd and have a regular Service / PMI check.• Work with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and full comprehensive understanding of the FTA system.• Planning film units from selecting the required facilities trailer, select a suitable HOD and base men to crew the unit base.• Plan multiple vehicle movement and driver requirements• Deal with insurance claims • On call 24 hours 7 days a week.• Out of hours working dealing with last minute production requirements.• Look after all aspects of a Mitsubishi pick up leasing service meeting production requirements.• Organise overseas projects. Supply costing and organise crossing and travel documentation and driver travel and accommodation. Breakdowns, fuel cards and any unforeseen issues that may arise.

Excellent organisational skills and ensuring that all Key Performance Indicators and targets are hit each shift. Working in a 24/7 operation as part of a team of Transport Team Managers. Key Responsibilities:• Responsible for all staff aspects within my team including; recruitment, coaching and development, performance management, absence management, including dealing with sickness and death in service, target setting and appraisal, day to day management and motivation.• Ensuring all Payroll amendments and exceptions for my team are processed accurately and in time.• Successfully designed Vehicle Weight Tracker System and implemented its use across all 9 Transport Team Managers, saving valuable time per shift, time and cost in getting vehicles to the stores which ensures we hit Key Performance Indicators.• Building robust transport operation plans and managing the movement of vehicles around the site ensuring they are at the right place, at the right time, including the off road vehicles.• Tracking the consumption of fuel and taking appropriate action with drivers when efficiencies are not met.• Pro-actively communicating with colleagues on a regular basis, including updating Warehouse Managers and creating detailed handovers for the start and end of each shift.• Responsible for Health and Safety sign off and monitoring of work practices within my area• Carrying out comprehensive accident investigations, drawing on IOSH course knowledge• Managing the budgets for the Driver and Clerical Teams to ensure costs are kept within agreed budgets.• Working with the team and the local community to reduce our impact on the environment, and implement our Community Plan• Deputising for the Transport General Manager as and when required.
