Having a career in Technology is fantastic but the brilliant thing about Fidelity is the opportunity to try different things and take on new roles, so for me that was being asked to lead our Global Platform Business which serves Plan Sponsors, Advisors, and Investors across our growing Workplace Investing, Personal Investing, Advisor Solutions, Global Stock Plan Services and Wealth businesses. As the leader of this business, I have the privilege to help our clients with one of the most important aspects of their lives, their financial well-being. In this role I am responsible for everything from driving our strategy to initiating product innovation, developing our technology platforms, and supporting our marketing, operational and client servicing teams. My priority is to provide outstanding support and state-of-the-art solutions to our clients and create an inclusive, challenging and supportive environment for our teams. In my former position as Global Head of Technology and Enterprise Services, I gained a wealth of experience that is already proving useful in my current role. The pace of change and the increasing adoption of digital transformation led to an exciting couple of years and it doesn’t look like slowing down, bringing this experience into my new role whilst continuing to learn new skills will be the challenge. I’m also passionate about Innovation and outside/in thinking and a firm believer in building great teams through creating an inclusive and diverse workforce. I am an active member of our DE&I Council, Chairman of Early careers at Fidelity, and sponsor for the Social Mobility strand which is important because our social background, defined by the educational attainment, income, and occupation of one’s parents continues to shape our experience well into our own educational and professional lives.
