as part of this role I was responsible for driving all Safety initiatives that come from onshore as well as putting in place fresh ideas to help achieve safe, efficient operations. My day to day HSE duties on-board the rig included but were not limited to, chairing daily safety briefings, meetings and inductions; coaching crew to identify hazards and put.

Working onboard various platforms in the North Sea. In my current role as HSE Advisor / Safety Coach, I am responsible for the day to day health, safety and environmental duties onboard. As part of my role, I conduct daily safety briefings and meetings; chair bi-weekly conference calls with onshore senior management; oversee crew training and competencies.

In my role as a Roughneck, I was appointed safety representative. Duties were to carry out weekly and monthly preventative maintenance checks; assist with all aspects of drilling and casing operations; operate shale shakers i.e. observe mud flow and cuttings; take mud weights; liaise with Driller, Derrickman, Mud Engineer and Mud Loggers; operate a variety.

In my role as a Roustabout with Global Resources & KCA Deutag, I worked onboard the Forties Alpha, Forties Bravo, Forties Charlie, Chevron Alba, Fulmar and Ninian South Platforms. I have also worked onboard jack ups Monarch, Magellan, Galaxy 1, Britannia and Ensco 101. Duties included helideck operations; banksman duties; general crane operations; rigging.
